Guy Builds Giants From Wood And Hides Them In The Wilderness For People To Find

These whimsical creatures made of recycled wood are hidden in the forests of Copenhagen.

Artist and sculpture Thomas Dambo installs each giant in a secret location where only poems and clues will lead you to them.

Each has its own treasure map created by the artist and engraved into the stones within the forest.

Dambo says it’s to get people on paths they are unfamiliar with. Each giant is crafted out of recycled wood and over 600 pieces of pallets, fences, and sheds.

Local volunteers stepped up to help complete Dambo’s project titled “The 6 Forgotten Giants: An open-air sculpture treasure hunt.” The giants are located throughout Rødovre, Hvidovre, Vallensbæk, Ishøj, Albertslund and Høje Taastrup!
